This SS15 collection has to be one of the softest line-up for the brand over a long time. From dusty pink and nude to white, with only a dash of burgundy and black to highlight. With ruffles and drapes to silk pieces, everything is soft and soothing.
This collection might as well be shown at The Garden of Eden.
But by no means this collection is boring and simple. Instead, it is massive. Haider Ackermann is definitely a master in his own right. Never fail to create art pieces that are massive but not messy. It is definitely not easy to balance between enough and more. Every close-up image shows the lines that created a great piece. Note worthy is the usage of belts, understated but so essential at the right place. Then again, this is a skill mastered by many magicians like Haider Ackermann. Here, his vision is perfected with the right styling. Not your average Eden-girl, the models were all in short silver crop and pale white powdered face. Still a hint of the darker side.
In my opinion – this collection has the most interesting close-up details.
