Few seasons ago everyone was giving Victoria Beckham and her new collection the benefit of doubt, knowing that she was trying baby steps into the fashion world as a designer. Encouragement was overflowing. Now trial time is over as she is officially accepted into the game, everyone is expecting more of her and the Victoria Beckham brand.
Yet Victoria stays true to what she believes in, improvising from her initial silhouette of short shift dresses to stronger and cleaner lines. This season bids farewell to the swinging babies and say hello to the long and lean cut. Relaxed fit and waist belts are applaudable. Midi is still big for her, both on catwalk or on her tiny figure.

Seems to me it is a nice safari party with neutral sandy tone, loose hair, boxy satchel, and luxury leather accessories. Victoria Beckham has fine taste in accessories and it is clearly being channeled to the collection.
Visible pockets and pointy flats are extremely appealing and practical. It is somewhat hard to believe Victoria Beckham would be down right practical and thinking about what other women needs on an average day. But well, she has proven it by seaming away with unnecessary wonders, focusing on the right ones. Being a savvy business woman, she knows what appeal to her loyal followers and how to attract new customers.

It is true that what Victoria Beckham is doing can be easily be done by another fashion house, and looks not too far from some of them. Yet, to be able to keep the vision clear and drive towards the direction in a world of chatter requires strong will and focus. The SS15 collection once again skewed towards sleek and functionality.
Honestly, a relaxed pink floral closing is way smarter than dropping in evening gowns.
