Maybe the title should read “The Happiest 5K Run That I Did Not Participate”.
I did however, participated in the smaller color run couple of months back in Putrajaya Wetlands Park, which had so limited color powder at every station. Anyway, that was a disappointment on the event itself, but the venue is no doubt a very beautiful place.
Back to THIS event that I should have gone but was too busy to even remember to register. When I stumbled upon the photos online, I really think it is nicely done. At least it looks like the photos I have seen for Paris Color Run and the rest.
“The Happiest 5k Run” is undoubtedly appealing to many people out there. Strong theme and straight to the point. Run itself may not be the cup of tea for many, but if it is a social event with powder splashing over you (more like releasing stress of what you didn’t get to do as a kid), then most of the people don’t mind to pay a slightly higher entry fee for it.
Here are some of the photos I like from the other locations:

I think everyone in KL Color Run has taken the time and effort to check out photos from other locations to get the best photography effect, because the creativity and photos are really amazing! Here are some of the photos I got of says.com and probably only a very small part of the fun photos from the event. (I think there are thousands of photos on instagram)
My favourite has to be the ‘wedding photo’ done. Apparently a couple had their pre-wedding photo taken during the run. Such awesome idea. Anyone care to confirm that?
Just search TheColorRun hashtag on instagram, you will find so many funny images!

Sometimes outdoor fun and social media can all come into one!
