Though I’m big in reading, but I’ve never really gone wild collecting bookmarks. The truth is, I use fashion tags (those nice looking designer paper tag attached to the garment) as bookmarks. My habit is to leave the piece of bookmark used in the very same book itself. I never recycle them. A little sort of memory I guess, besides that, I have tons of fashion tags.

I’m not a fan of metal clip-on bookmark, simply because I find them too heavy to clip onto a single page. But if it is a slip-in style like the above, it would be cute to have.

The corner bookmark is cute, but I guess it is not so practical in real. I’m constantly worry it will spoil the paper, but this heart shape felt material corner marker looks possible to me.

I love these handmade bookmarks, but when I went to the Etsy side, she put up a notice about closing the store. I was kinda heart-broken, but I guess you can easily make this in art class? Let’s try?
Oh by the way, I found more fun stuffs from TrendHunter, and this caught my attention:

Super cute – but since I always bring my books in the bag, I guess it would last either!
I’m sure there are many more cute bookmarks out there, but I’m often concern about the practically in them. Essentially I like my bookmarks to be light and flat, most importantly it should not be a hassle to bring around or do damage to the book, so I guess I’ll stick with my fashion tags for now.
How do you like your bookmarks?
