Sometimes all you need is a single theme and work around it, then boom, you’ll have a strong and focus runway presentation. Take that lesson from Paco Rabanne’s FW14 runway presentation.
Let’s see the first few looks, tell me how would you describe the collection?

So what’s your verdict?
I actually like this first few look, and if you continue to read on and see the following looks, you will too. It is a single-minded and strong collection. Nothing extremely fancy, but well thought-of and sorted out in terms of message.
I especially love the chest pieces. It’s like a really modern and down-to-earth version of what Lady Sif (from Asgard, if you do not know) will wear if she is living on Midgard aka earth. (If you do not know what I’m talking about, please watch Thor 1, the movie )
And so I call this collection ‘The Ladies Who Protect The Modern World’. Yes? Don’t they look like the modern undercover or warriors of our time? Understated coolness and clean slate styling through out.
Chest pieces, fitting jersey blouses, sheer cut-out, bodysuit, asymmetrical skirts, drapes, leather belts and skinny pants, all ready to save the world in style! Even if Lady Sif is not coming to our planet, I’m sure Paco Rabanne can save those girls who desperately need a crash course on how to dress like a cool fighter.
The futuristic element is evidently presented throughout the collection, yet it blends into the daily pieces of pants, shirts and skirts so seamlessly, it makes them just another piece of good art for everyday use. Lesson 101: balance.

Actually, the more I look and study the collection, the more I’m falling in love with it!
Oh and the footwear, I’m loving it too!
