I remember Iceberg was here in Malaysia in the late 90s, during my teenage time. But it was gone in no time. Now after so many years, I seem to pick up its frequency again.
It is still the same as I remember of Iceberg: nothing extraordinarily screaming for attention, but it keeps to the basic of good styling, and colour combo. The Italian cool cat.
And this FW14 collection brings me back to the Iceberg sunglasses era. It was the most hip and happening sunglasses I have wanted, because it looks so polished and cool. The light reflecting metal frame with the definite edges on the sunglasses are now done in the form of fabric, the horizontal fasten strip and the vertical pleats that run just at the right place.
I honestly like small details in fashion. The vertical pleats stop at the right number of folds in it. Nothing new, but the fingers holes on the sweaters make me happy. Not forgetting the fur neck braces throughout the collection, added a hint of mystery, and good investment after winter sport.
It’s cooling to see Iceberg doing lightness after so many heavy collections from MFW and LFW.
