Thoughts: Is it a closure?

I bet no one sleeps well last night, with the press conference that was held at 10pm Malaysia time, everyone was truly saddened by the news.

We longed for a closure. But when it comes, it hits you like never before.

“It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean.” – PM Najib

Ended. Such a simple but heavy word.

It is not easy to make such statement, nor conclusion to the world. But is this truly a closure? Personally, I feel that until more questions are being answered, and these are basic questions anyone will ask under such circumstances, there is no closure for the loved ones of those on MH370. Even for us, there is no closure yet.

We may continue to do our daily chores, but our hearts are with them. We surely continue to live, but we know deep down, anyone of us could be one of them. We asked for miracles, but sometimes, we do not God has His plan.

The S&R teams are still working out there, let’s take a moment to pray for their safety too. For we know, the ocean is a dangerous place.

Let there be light.
